The Eco-Bishops Conference took place from 21-23.10.2024. It was organised by SAFCEI, Green Anglicans, and the Centre for Public Witness. The participants came from eleven different denominations from South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, and Eswatini. Together, we listened to the groaning of Creation, hearing the cry of the Earth and that of the poor and marginalized. A statement was formulated and signed by the participants as a sign of commitment. (see link)

Let us as members of Cape Church take responsibility and serve as good stewards of what God had entrusted to us. Let us share stories of what we do, to encourage each other to live responsibly and do what we can do, so that the next generations may still enjoy what we ‘still’ have to enjoy and celebrate life.
